Dulwich Hill Community Fair day a huge success!

Wow, what a great day everyone had at the Dulwich Hill Community Fair today!  Such a great vibe, everyone so friendly and relaxed (well, almost everyone – Hello Councillor Tyler! ;), and oh the smells of so much yummy food!

We also collected a HUGE number of signatures for our petition, and we were blown away by how many people were either already up to speed on the issue and wanted to voice their frustration, or gobsmacked to learn that it was back on Council’s agenda.  Already we’ve surpassed the approximately 800 people who said NO to plastic turf in 2009, clearly demonstrating that certain Councillors do NOT speak for the “silent majority” in West Ward!
